TRUSSVILLE, Ala. (WIAT) – A road used by some on their morning commute in Trussville will undergo road work soon, likely making the daily commute longer than usual. Crews will be working on several projects in the area of North Chalkville Road.
Those projects include repairing a drainage ditch and widening streets. On Monday, drivers who frequent the road will be rerouted to Rockridge Avenue, which will allow crews to remove dead trees in the area and replace curbs.
City officials are hoping to have all projects complete by August.
