JEMISON, Ala. (WIAT) – A drug overdose death in Shelby County led to the arrest of five people. The death led to a search warrant at a home in Jemison, according to investigators.
Officers arrived at the home looking for Brian Hudson, who was listed as the homeowner and had several outstanding warrants from Thorsby.
When officers arrived, they found a gun, meth and 14 bags of spice sitting in plain view. Christopher Jones , Melissa Watts, Dusty Partridge and Brittany Clements were also at the home. They were all arrested on drug charges.
Watts and Partridge have since bonded out of jail.
