Man leads police on high-speed chase through two counties

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) – A man who led police on a high-speed chase through two counties is facing several charges. Investigators tell WIAT 42 News it all began near Brookwood High School in Tuscaloosa County around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

It ended near Groundhog Road in Adger, which is located in Jefferson County.

WIAT 42 News was on the scene as police looked for the driver after he hopped out of his pickup truck. He got away, and police say he faces several misdemeanor and felony charges.
