BESSEMER, Ala. (AP) – Authorities say they’ve apprehended a Hoover man they’ve been seeking after his pregnant wife was found shot to death.
The suspect, 29-year-old Brian Darnell Epps, was captured by U.S. marshals and Hoover police Tuesday night at a home in Bessemer.
Epps is charged with capital murder in the slaying of his wife, Rashon Deidrenette Bester Epps, who was killed Saturday — the day before her 30th birthday.
A manhunt for Brian Epps had been underway since Saturday. He was expected to be taken to the Jefferson County Jail following his arrest. It wasn’t known Wednesday whether he has an attorney.
