Missing Mount Olive man found safe in Birmingham


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — UPDATE: Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Jack Self says Crider was found safe in the 4500 block of Fifth Avenue South in Birmingham.

ORIGINAL: Jefferson County deputies are asking for your help to locate Terry Crider who disappeared from his Mount Olive home on Oakhurst Street around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Crider has been described as 59-years-old and cannot speak due to a stroke. He’s 5’8 and 215 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Crider was last seen wearing a fray plaid shirt and blue jeans.

Deputies ask if you have seen him to please call Jefferson County at 205-325-1450.
