Another cool start for the state with many spots in the 50s and lower 60s. There have been a few high clouds that have been pushing into the state from the west, but most of our area will still see plenty of sunshine, but there will be high cloud cover throughout the course of the day. Temps will again be below normal with most spots in the lower and middle 80s for highs.
Not as cool overnight into Friday morning with many spots only hitting the middle and upper 60s as clouds and a decent amount of moisture starts to flood into the state throughout next 24 hours. The cloud cover will be a little more widespread for the area on Friday with some sunshine. There will be a few showers possible on Friday afternoon, but the best chances will be across the western counties west of I-65.
Rain chances will be going up quite a bit as the next wave to our west moves into state and the high amount of moisture that will be in place by then will be put to good use in the form of rain and a few thundershowers. There will be better rainfall amounts with this next wave passing through as the low will cross right over northern counties of the state. The rain chance will linger into Sunday with coverage beginning to go down later into Sunday afternoon and evening.
Back to a more routine July forecast for the first of next week with many spots again approaching the 90 degree mark and a few afternoon thundershowers possible each day.
