Julio no longer a Hawaiian threat


Hurricane Julio is passing far north of the Hawaiian islands and no longer poses a threat to the Hawaiian islands. The latest track from the National Hurricane Center weakens it to an area of low pressure in the north Pacific Ocean by the weekend. Unfortunately, it’s remnants won’t be able to bring beneficial rains to the parched western U.S.:
