PELHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – A former Shelby County school administrator will find out in September if her sex abuse case will be thrown out. Catherine Bell, 33, was the assistant principal at Pelham High School.
She pleaded not guilty to having sexual contact with a student. Earlier in July, Bell’s attorney’s asked a judge to throw out her case. They claim the alleged victim was not a student. They also claim he was not under the age of 19.
The judge will rule on the request Sept. 29.
