Cable company reportedly leaves town causing problems for customers

CEDAR BLUFF, Ala. (WIAT) — Cable customers in east Alabama are not happy after their cable company reportedly pulled out of town without warning.

It all began in the Cedar Bluff community about two months ago. City Council says they’ve reached out to the people at Ridge Networks several times since their doors closed, but to no avail.

Now customers don’t have a place to pay their bills or to file a complaint. While they wait for answers city leaders say they’ve started reaching out to other cable providers

According to the Ridge Networks website they provide cable service for customers in parts of North West Alabama and north east Georgia.
