Hazardous equipment stolen in Tuscaloosa

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) – Tuscaloosa Police Department is reporting hazadous stolen equipment after responding to a vehicle break in on the 3900 block of E McFarland Blvd on Wednesday.

Police say suspects broke the driver side window to gain entry into a work vehicle parked in a hotel parking lot. Suspects stole test equpiment used on cell phone towers.

A CCI Pim Pro 1921 and a CCI Pim Pro 850 were taken. Both devices can be extremely hazardous if turned on without training or equipment due to radio-frequency radiation.
