BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – The EV 68 Virus is easily confused with the common cold but it’s much more than that. The CDC confirmed last week that there are at least 4 cases of the disease impacting children in Alabama with hundreds of other cases across the nation.
Dr. David Kimberlin is the co-director of the division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Children’s of Alabama. He discusses concerns about EV 68 virus, as well as, more on what this virus actually is.
