Cahaba River “Fry-Down” postponed

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The fifth annual Cahaba River “Fry-Down” originally slated to take place on September 28 has been postponed due to possible inclement weather.

The “Fry-Down” which is a competition for catfish frying consisting of 12 local teams. Already in its fifth year, the cook-off has started to garner a reputation as a culinary event and good edition to the Birmingham metro foodie movement.

The event does consist of many activities for the whole family to enjoy.

No word yet on when it is to be rescheduled.
