TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The 19-year-old Tuscaloosa girl jailed for an alleged murder-for-hire plot is going to a youth development center in Opelika.
Marissa Williams is charged with trying to hire someone to kill family. Williams allegedly created a fake Facebook profile and tried to hire someone to kill her aunt, the aunt’s fiancé and the family dog.
She has been in the Tuscaloosa County Jail since her arrest four months ago.
Under the terms of the release, Williams will participate in a program of analysis and treatment for at-risk-youth at the Opelika center. She’ll return to Tuscaloosa when she finishes the program.
