Armchair Quarterback: Jeffrey Williams

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Another huge week of college football has come and gone, and the Auburn Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide had completely different outings on Saturday. The Auburn Tigers’ national championship hopes were dealt a healthy blow when the Texas A&M Aggies rolled into Auburn and knocked off Gus Malzahn’s squad 41-38.

The Alabama Crimson Tide drove down the field with 50 seconds left and tied the game at 13 points a piece between Nick Saban’s Alabama squad and LSU. DeAndrew White caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Blake Sims in the first frame of overtime and the Crimson Tide held on to win 20-13 in Death Valley.

Jim Dunaway sat down with this week’s Armchair Quarterback winner, Jeffrey Williams, to discuss all of the action.
