BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – The man charged in the death of two men outside of a motorcycle club in Birmingham has been extradited back to Alabama.
Birmingham police spokesman Lt. Sean Edwards says James Armstrong III was extradited from Georgia to Alabama.
Armstrong is charged in the deaths of Steven Hicks and Wilbert Hawkins. The two men were shot to death outside a Birmingham motorcycle club in September.
Edwards says Armstrong was arrested on Sept. 4 in Georgia.
The Jefferson County District Attorney sent a governors warrant for Armstrong. He was extradited back to Alabama.
Edwards says no bond has been set for Armstrong and police are still looking for people to come forward with information pertaining to the case.
