Arrest made in Alabaster shooting

ALABSTER, Ala. (WIAT) — Just 24 hours after Alabaster police began their search for an alleged gunman, they have found their man. Sylvester Rhines was originally listed as a person of interest in a shooting from Tuesday. On Wednesday police issued two warrants for him.

Investigators say Rhines shot a man at his home, Tuesday, after an argument. The victim survived the shooting with minor injuries.

Sylvester Rhines is facing 1st degree robbery and 2nd degree assault charges.
