TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) – Authorities have arrested a Tuscaloosa man they say had drugs in his possession with a street value of more than $30,000.
The Tuscaloosa Police Department said in a news release Friday that agents with the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force on Thursday arrested 30-year-old Barado Durell Jones of Tuscaloosa following a weeklong investigation.
Police say Jones had more than three pounds of synthetic marijuana and Percocet pills.
Jones is charged with a single count of trafficking synthetic marijuana. Police say more charges are possible.
He was being held in the Tuscaloosa County jail on $500,000 bond. It wasn’t immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.
