TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) – Law enforcement in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham are working together to solve a string of home invasions that began over the weekend.
Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide investigators say they have warrants out for numerous teenagers ranging in age from 18 to 19. Four of the suspects are in custody, while another is still at large.
The teens are accused of breaking into homes in Northport and Tuscaloosa over the weekend.
Birmingham police have five people in custody who are being questioned for home invasions that happened late Sunday night and early Tuesday morning.
