TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — Four years ago, the state of Alabama experienced its worst outbreak of tornadoes ever. WIAT 42 cameras were rolling as twisters touched down in cities across Alabama.
The events of that day remain fresh in the minds of thousands, including Tuscaloosa bureau reporter, Leigh Garner. Leigh shares her memories of covering the storms that day, as well as, how Tuscaloosa has worked to rebuild over the years.

More than 60 people died as a result of the Tuscaloosa tornado, including 6 University of Alabama students.
