BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — This summer promises to bring some new excitement to one west Alabama park; and it’ll be one for the record books.
Construction is almost complete at Snow Hinton Park on what will soon be the tallest slide in the southeast.
The Tuscaloosa Parks and Recreation Authority brought in a company from Denmark to build the giant tube slide.
The 38-foot spiral will also have a big cable net to help kids climb up to the top. Riders can check it out beginning in August.
