Fairfield man arrested for selling heroin

FAIRFIELD, Ala. (WIAT) — Kyre T. Robinson, 21 of Fairfield, has been arrested and charged with Unlawful Distribution of a Heroin and Heroin trafficking.

The Vestavia Hills Police Department Special Investigations unit and the BHPD Tactical Unit obtained a narcotics search warrant for Robinson’s home. The home, located in the 6400 block of Kelco Place, contained heroin, marijuana, currency and a firearm, all of which were seized.

SIU Investigators obtained felony warrants through the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office for the charges. Robinson has been transferred to the County Jail and his bond is set at $2 million.

The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement said further charges will follow.
