Mountain Brook Police searching for Hampton Inn robbery suspect

MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. (WIAT) — UPDATE: Mountain Brook Police said they identified and arrested Abraham Moseley, 42 of Birmingham, as the Hampton Inn robbery suspect.

MPD said they arrested Mosley on July 20 after identifying him from a video they obtained. Moseley was charged with robbery in the 3rd and theft in the 3rd degree. His bond is set at $15,300.

ORIGINAL: Mountain Brook police are asking for help from the public to track down a robbery suspect.

According to police, a man, pictured below, held up the Hampton Inn Sunday night.

After reportedly robbing the hotel, the man took off in a black car. Mountain Brook Police provided images (below) from surveillance footage of the car, but hope to provide clearer images of the man at a later date.
