Greensboro man allegedly shoots ex-stepson four times, turns gun on himself

GREENSBORO, Ala. (WIAT) — According to Hale County District Attorney, Michael Jackson, there was a shooting this morning in Greensboro.

Jackson said that Andy Arrington shot his ex-stepson, 27-year-old John Farrell, four times before turning the gun on himself.

Arrington reportedly broke into his ex-wife’s home after parking his car at a nearby business.

Arrington’s stepson was taken to DCH in Tuscaloosa where he is undergoing treatment. He is reportedly in critical condition.

Hale County sheriff’s office is currently investigating. WIAT 42 is following this story and will update as we get more information.
