Nick Saban’s first showdown with Wisconsin since Michigan State years

ARLINGTON, Tex. (WIAT) – Saturday’s showdown in AT&T Stadium will only be the second time for Alabama and Wisconsin to play. The last time these two teams met, Wisconsin won 15-0. But that matchup took place all the way back in 1928 – Calvin Coolidge was President and gas was just 21 cents a gallon.

For head coach Nick Saban, though, it will be his fourth time facing off against the Badgers. Nick Saban’s Michigan State Spartans took on Wisconsin a total of three times, but only won once. Saturday in Dallas, Saban will look to bring both his and Alabama’s record against Wisconsin up to .500.
