BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Summer is winding down and the owners of Alabama Splash Adventure are reflecting on their 2015 season.
Dan Koch said, “We thank the great people of Alabama for visiting us; it was such great support. We really appreciate all of the great families of Alabama who came and visited us in 2015 and we look forward to seeing all of the great people of Alabama in 2016.”
But Dan Koch had one standout memory in 2015 — riding “The Rampage”, the wildest roller coaster at the theme park, with WIAT’s Mary Stackhouse.
Koch said, “That was one of the highlights of my year.”
But, it’s not all fun and no work at Alabama Splash Adventure. The Koch’s have big goals in mind for next season.
Pat Koch said, “For next summer it’s going to be cleaner, safer, friendlier, better service, more space for more people to move around in so we will be able to accommodate more people, we hope!”
For right now, the Koch’s are pausing to look back on 2015 and prepare the park to make the 2016 season even better for park-goers.
