According to investigators, Madden was warned that he would be arrested if he did not stop sending threatening messages to the police department, but he continued.
Kentucky State Police told News 2 Madden is not being investigated in connection to his father’s murder case.
Timothy Madden is charged with kidnapping, rape, sodomy, and murder in connection to the murder of Gabriella “Gabbi” Doolin’s death on Nov. 13.
The 7-year-old was reported missing at 7:40 p.m. and found dead just 25 minutes later at 8:05 p.m. in a small stream of water nearby.
Kentucky State Police believe Madden raped and sodomized Gabbi before strangling her with his hands and drowning her.
