ELKMONT, Ala. (WIAT) — A story has gone viral out of north Alabama.
Ludivine the bloodhound was let out for a run earlier this month and ended up taking a much longer exercise break than she expected.
Ludivine turned up at the starting line of the Elkmont Half-Marathon and ran the entire 13.1 miles, finishing in seventh place.
Her owner didn’t know about her pup’s celebrity status until a friend called to fill her in.
Ludivine was given a finisher’s medal before making it home for a well-deserved nap.
