GORDO, Ala. (WIAT) — Ben Davis is set to follow in his father’s footsteps. On National Signing Day the top ranked player in the state chose Alabama over others like Auburn and Georgia.
Davis tells WIAT 42’s Nic Gulas that he made the decision this morning, and that Auburn came in second. Ben’s father, Wayne Davis, who played at Alabama from 1983-86, and still holds the career tackles record, 327, says he never had a doubt that his son would pick Alabama.
