Birmingham Airport posts plaque honoring Luke Bresette

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Airport Authority has unveiled a memorial plaque in honor of Luke Alexander Bresette at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth Airport.

Luke Bresette died at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport on March 22, 2013 in an accident while traveling with his family.

The plaque is located on the upper level in the east ticketing lobby. The plaque reads:

“In memory of Luke Alexander Bresette n life, he taught us to live each day to the fullest with strong faith and forgiveness in our hearts. With his passing, we are reminded to value ever single day with our children, and to live like Luke.” -The Bresette Family

The plaque is accompanied by an image of Luke.
