HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — 16-year-old Charleston Wells was indicted in the murder of Lake Cyrus veteran Mike Gilotti by the grand jury Wednesday.
Wells was also indicted on 9 counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle.
16-year old Charleston Wells is accused of shooting and killing 33-year old Mike Gilotti.
He was formally charged with murder–as an adult–for his alleged involvement in the murder of Mike Gilotti.
Gilotti was gunned down in front of his Lake Cryus home on Jan. 5.
Wells is being held without bond.
Court documents show Wells’ fingerprints were found on a PlayStation 3 game that was stolen from one of Gilotti’s neighbors.
Police also say Wells’ fingerprints were found on a pickup truck spotted outside Gilotti’s house after the shooting.
There is a bond hearing set for Feb. 4 for Wells.
