There will be a few high clouds that will continue through the night tonight, but the majority of our area will stay mostly clear. Temps are cooling down some into the middle and upper 40s by early on Thursday morning.
Sunshine’s in store for the St. Patrick’s Day forecast. There will be a few passing clouds for the area and high temps again back into the lower and middle 70s. With dry weather in place, the atmosphere will take a little moistening up before we get back into a chance of showers for our area. There will be moisture increasing across the state on Thursday evening and into Thursday night. The temps will begin to go down thanks to the clouds and a little rain for the area on Friday with highs back into the middle and upper 60s with a few spots touching 70 across our southern counties. The rain chances will actually begin later into the day with a few scattered showers popping up in a few areas.
Rain chances will go up a little into Friday night and early on Saturday. Some forecast models are suggesting about 80 percent of us will get the rain, but the current forecast we have is marked for 50 percent coverage across the area. Temps will begin to cool down this weekend to wrap up the Winter season. The highs will be back into the 50s while the overnights will be dropping down into the middle and lower 30s for Saturday and Sunday nights. Spring will arrive at 11:30 PM on Saturday night, so Sunday you can enjoy the first full day of spring with highs in the 50s and plenty of sunshine.
