BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Regions Tradition gets underway Wednesday and thousands of fans are expected to make their way to Greystone over the course of the next few days.
While golf is usually an individual’s game, it takes a huge team of volunteers to put something like this tournament together. One of those volunteers has been helping to make the tournament happen for the last 25 years. It’s no wonder why Reeves Sims has been named this year’s Volunteer of the Year.
Sims spoke with Michael Oder about the work that goes into the tournament and some of the amazing things he’s seen over the years.
