More Rain and Storms Before Drying Out

Mostly Cloudy skies continue with pockets of sun across the area on Thursday. Temps warm into the lower 80s with a few 80s across the area. Friday will be the best chance for showers and a few thunderstorms…In turn we’ve issued a WEATHER AWARE DAY for Friday. However, organized severe storms are not expected, but a few could produce heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds.

The weekend is looking better, with a few lingering clouds on Saturday, and slightly cooler temperatures. Highs will rise to the upper 70s. Sunday looks like the best of the weekend days, with just at few clouds and highs in the low 80s. Both days will feature much lower humidity..another great weekend coming.

There will be dry weather for the first of next week with a few afternoon showers possible as we get into the middle of the week. More of a summertime weather pattern shaping up.
