Tracking a Predator: Donald Cline

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office needs your help tracking down a missing sex offender. Donald Cline went missing in April.

CBS 42 News and the Sheriff’s Sex Offender Unit are working to find sex offenders hiding from the law. Deputies are looking for Donald Cline. He was released from the Birmingham City Jail on March 21st. Cline registered with deputies at the 2000 block of 15th Place Southwest.

Cline was told he couldn’t live there because it was too close to a registered daycare. He was given seven days to change his address. That’s when deputies say he never showed up to register again.

Cline was convicted of rape and sexual abuse in Jefferson County. He failed to report in April and warrants have been issued for his arrest.

Deputies believe that Cline is somewhere on the southwest side of Birmingham.

If you see him — or know where he is — you should call the Jefferson County Sexual Predator hotline at 205-325-4779.
