Humidity levels rising with increased moisture making things hotter

This afternoon, temperatures will warm up into the mid 90’s. When you add in the humidity it’s going to feel closer to 100 outside. Be sure to drink plenty of water today and wear your sunscreen if you will be spending any time outdoors. Overnight tonight, temperatures will only fall into the lower 70’s under a mostly clear sky.

For your weekend: Saturday, sunshine early with temperatures cranking up into the mid 90’s. Tomorrow will be another hot and humid day. There will be a few afternoon clouds and we could have an isolated shower or two. Rain chances will remain very small though to start the weekend. Sunday, we will see a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 90’s. A slight risk of an afternoon shower or storm as we round out the weekend.

More unsettled weather next week. Starting Monday the rain chances will begin going up. Monday about a one in three chance that any one neighborhood sees an afternoon storm. Temperatures Monday stay around 90. Tuesday, temps hold in the lower 90’s and I will bump up rain chances to 40%. A 50% coverage of rain is in the forecast through Thursday. With the string of dry days that we’ve had this week we could use a little rain to cool things off and water the grass next week.
