Typical Summer Day in Central Alabama

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Temperatures are warming up with very few showers to cool us off. This will be the trend going forward for the work week ahead as well. If you do see some rain near you, count yourself lucky. Any rain or storms will fizzle out by sunset or shortly after. We’ll be left with a partly cloudy sky and mild and muggy weather. Lows will only fall to the mid 70s by Monday morning.

Chances of rain will be around 30% or so for both Monday and Tuesday. Temperatures will be allowed to heat up during the afternoons into the low and mid 90s with plenty of humidity. Rain chances go down to just highly isolated from Wednesday-next weekend with temps getting even hotter. With the humidity, it will feel more like 100+ degrees. Get ready for a sweltering week ahead.
