BESSEMER, Ala. (WIAT) — Family and friends of James Morrison, the Bessemer man whose remains are believed to have been found inside an abandoned vehicle, will say their final farewell.
Morrison’s funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday morning at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home. His burial will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
You may remember the 75-year-old’s burned van was found in a wooded area in Shelby County earlier in July.
Investigators say remains were found inside the vehicle. Morrison had been missing since January 3. Although they haven’t positively identified the remains, police released them to Morrison’s family.
