BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A federal grand jury indicted a man on multiple charges of receiving and possessing child pornography on Tuesday, according to a release from The Department of Justice.
U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance and FBI Special Agent in Charge Roger C. Stanton announced that James Ryan Taylor, 28 has been charged with receipt of Child Pornography between January 2013 and January 2016.
Taylor was also charged with posession and access with intent to view child pornography between Feb. 28, 2015, and March 4, 2015. The maximum penalty for each count of receiving and possessing child pornography is 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
