Few afternoon storms on Wednesday otherwise hot

Showers and storms have moved out of the area for the night and now we’re looking at patchy fog developing.

Temps will be hot again for the next several days. That means the heat index will top 100 degrees and higher so be prepared for more August heat where we do not have rain and thunderstorms develop.

Rain chances will be in the 30 to 40% range for the next several days and not much change in the weather pattern for the state.
