Birmingham City Schools offer after school care at 16 schools

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Birmingham City Schools have announced the locations of their after schools programs. The program will be offered at 16 schools across the city and will cost parents $40 per week.

After school care will run from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for prekindergarten and from 3 p.m. tp 6 p.m. for kindergarten through 8th grade. Applications will be available at participating schools.

If parents have questions, they may call the district’s After School Care Office at 205-231-2371 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Hemphill
  • Huffman Academy
  • Martha Gaskins
  • Minor
  • Oliver
  • Oxmoor Valley
  • Phillips Academy
  • Princeton
  • South Hampton
  • Sun Valley
  • Tuggle
  • West End Academy
  • W.J. Christian
