TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — Before the second practice of fall camp, Alabama football players JK Scott and Rashaan Evans met with the media.

Both players mentioned their excitement to get back on the field in preparation for the new season, as well as some of the difficulties of starting from scratch after winning a national championship.

“It is pretty difficult, but with Coach Saban, with his principles and stuff like that, he always gets us back on track,” Evans said. “Overall, we’ve been doing the same things that we did last year, nothing different, and that’s how we’re going to approach each and every day.”

“It goes back to focusing on the process because that was the mentality last year,” Scott said. “It was focusing on each practice, each thing, every game. One game at a time, that was our mentality and then we ended up winning the national championship based on performance.”
