BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Some people in Birmingham are getting some relief from the heat. One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating is teaming up with the Salvation Army of Greater Birmingham to help the elderly get access to air conditioning.
They have donated $13,000 to purchase 30 air conditioning units. The company’s technicians will install them at homes in need.
The remaining AC units are expected to be delivered and installed by the end of this month.
