BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Saturday is turning out hot and mostly dry for Central Alabama. Very few showers are popping up, and if they do, they are fizzling out quickly. For the remainder of Saturday, expect just some clouds and a mild and humid overnight. We’ll see some drier air in the mid levels of the atmosphere mix down to the surface, but we’ll still feel a bit sticky outside. Lows will fall to the mid 70s by Sunday morning.
More very quiet weather is ahead for the second half of the weekend, with low rain chances and soaring temperatures. Highs will once again reach the mid 90s with a decent amount of humidity, but not oppressive like the end of the week.
More of the same is expected, as high pressure dominated the eastern third of the country next week. Warm, mostly sunny days without much rain chance are ahead for next work week.
