(WIAT) — September is Baby Safety Month. Babies “R” Us is working to help parents baby-proof their home and keep their child safe. That includes making sure parents know how to stay safe, even on the go.
“When it comes to car seats, you want to look for an item that can grow with your child, something like an Ultramax Air, which is brand new to the market,” Babies “R” Us spokesperson, Adrienne O’Hara, said. “You want to make sure your child stays in a rear-facing car seat up until 2. The longer the safer.”
Don’t forget, as soon as you get a car seat or any baby or toddler related item, register it before you take it out of the box. This way you’ll be notified of any recall by the manufacturer.
