Home Depot offers easy bathroom remodels to maximize resale value

INVERNESS, Ala. (WIAT) – If you have been thinking about remodeling your bathroom, you can do those renovations for a lot less than you might think! According to Bryan Cornelius, an associate with Home Depot, those who update their bathrooms receive approximately a 70 percent return on investment when selling their homes.

“If you have a lower end budget, there is still a lot you can do,” Cornelius said. “For a quick weekend project, you can repaint your bathroom. You can do some different hardware on your cabinetry, maybe even change out the door slides! Any of these swaps could be done in a day without spending a lot of money.”

These small changes can make a big difference to the overall look of your bathroom.

“If you want to step up and do a little bit more, we can come in and replace your cabinetry and your faucets. We have a lot of different options you can choose from in the store and countless different options on HomeDepot.com. This is really a weekend project as well, it just takes a little more time a research,” said Cornelius.

If you are interested in taking your shower/bath space to a new level, Home Depot has a program called Re-Bath.

“We can actually come in and cover what you already have as far as a bathtub or a shower. We can put in a different wall system, or various types of stone looks. We can come in and have a completely different remodel of a bathroom in a week without having to tear everything out,” Cornelius said.

Home Depot has local, insured professionals available to help with any installations. From the smallest projects to the biggest projects, you can transform your bathroom – a very personal space – and make it feel like your own.
