SHORTER, Ala. (WIAT) — VictoryLand is expected to reopen its doors in Macon County on Tuesday. VictoryLand closed in 2013 as part of a statewide crackdown on electronic gaming.
On Monday, crews were putting the finishing touches together for today’s reopening.
So far, about 200 people have been hired to work at the facility and more jobs are expected to follow.
UPDATE: VictoryLand has now officially reopened. Jamie Ostroff will have more tonight on the WIAT CBS42 Newscasts
