More heat for the end of Summer week

Today will mark day 17 that we’ve had temperatures at or above 90 degrees in September. Although we haven’t broken any records on any given day, we are definitely exceeding average days we see 90’s.

Skies will remain mostly clear for the remainder of this Tuesday afternoon and evening. Temps will still be hot in the lower 90s across the area, making it 18 days in September we’ve had a high of 90 plus.

With Fall beginning on Thursday, there will not be much Fall like weather for the state, just yet. Forecast models are hinting at some cooler air possibly arriving by the first and middle of next week.
