AUBURN, Ala. (WIAT) — The Auburn Tigers entered Saturday’s game coming off of a victory in which they shocked LSU to take on the ULM Warhawks at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The 1-2 Warhawks were hoping to even out their record against the 2-2 Tigers.

The Tigers proved to be a tough challenge, refusing to let off the gas against the Warhawks from the opening drive.

Sean White was involved in two Tiger touchdowns right out of the gate in the first quarter, running one in and throwing on the Tiger Defense.

The Warhawks struggled to find an answer for the Auburn offense throughout the game, as the focus switched form White to Kerryon Johnson for the second quarter.

Just as the clocked ticked down to close out the first half, ULM scored a passing touchdown to put seven points on the board.

The Auburn defense would refuse to make the same mistake, holding ULM to those 7 points for the rest of the game.

As the game wore on, Auburn put in second-string quarterback John Franklin III to close things out, along with Malik Miller, Freshman RB.

Miller ended up scoring his first touchdown of his collegiate career, but was unfortunately helped off the field, refusing to put weight onto his right leg.

At this time, there is no word on Miller’s injury’s severity.

Franklin picked up the slack in stunning fashion, breaking off an 80 yard run in his first few plays of the game.

Auburn’s last offensive touchdown of the game was a throw from Franklin to Nate Craig-Myers, before a safety put them into their final score, a 58-7 shellacking of the Warhawks.

Next week, Auburn faces an in-conference opponent as they go up against the Mississippi State Bulldogs down in Starkville.
