Mike Hubbard files appeal

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) — According to court documents, Mike Hubbard filed an appeal on Wednesday.

A jury found Hubbard guilty of 12 ethics violations in June.

Hubbard argued prosecutors stretched the intent of the state ethics law and allowed improper expert witness testimony in that trial.
