Great fall weather, but more drought problems

Dry weather is the big weather story for us now. We are in the driest season of our region and we’re not looking to get much relief with rain anytime soon.

While were on track to have plenty of sunshine over the next number of days, we’re going back to warmer temps and little to no cloud cover through the middle of the week. Some forecast models are suggesting we’ll have a shot at some moisture by the weekend, but that’s a ways out and to early to buy into that scenario. While it would be awesome to get some rain since it’s been since Sept 17th for the Birmingham area to get some rain, we’re looking at August for the last time Anniston has gotten any.
